Holm Community Heritage at St. Nicholas Kirk is dedicated to keeping the Ould Kirk in the ownership of the Community on a cultural, historical and social level as well as preserving this irreplaceable building and the character of the area for the future generations. Through themed exhibitions, concerts, book launches, an accessible wealth of archives and even weddings, it aims to bring the community together and share the area’s rich heritage.

"Community acquires St Nicholas Church" - Orcadian 14th Dec 2009
The Friends of St Nicholas are dedicated to keeping the Old Kirk in the ownership of the Holm Community, and to preserving the building with its contribution to the appearance and character of the area.
We also aim to make part of the building accessible and relevant to the public by creating a small archive of interest to visitors to the kirkyard. In the Remembrance area we plan to have a remembrance book, photos and biographies.
If you have any information which you think is relevant, or if you would like to be on the mailing list of the Friends, please let us know.
